InitiatedAunt74
I finally did it. Cost $0 additional, as I stole a spring from a happy meal toy my kid wasn't using and used that to replace the very heavy spring in the Logitech Extreme Pro 3d. The stick does not stay where it's put, exactly, so it's not perfect, but the spring is enough to counteract the weight of the stick handle and so almost no force is required to move it, and it certainly is less frustrating to operate the cyclic, and find the hover button, with this modified stick. I also used some lego to extend the "collective" nub so that I can control that with a bit more finesse. I have floor pedal rudders, and feel like finally it's not frustrating to learn some heli skills.
