Andrew Garfield was one of the best dressed men at the 2023 Golden Globes. He was also nominated for his performance in Under the Banner of Heaven. However, the real highlight of Andrew Garfield at the 2023 Golden Globes was a 2 minute, 18 second interview he did on the red (gray?) carpet with interviewer Amelia Dimoldenberg.

Upon arriving to speak with Dimoldenberg, who has interviewed him before, Garfield immediately dissolved into a fit of giggles.

"How are you? We must stop meeting like this," she begins. "I only ever want to see you," Garfield responds.

Dimoldenberg, with expert comedic timing, replies, "What?!" Garfield, blushing and tripping over his words, continues, "At an, on like a—that's not the end of the sentence! That's not the end of the sentence!" I only ever want to see you in these kind of sort of situations."

Dimoldenberg is a British journalist and comedian, who hosts the web series Chicken Shop Date, where she interviews various celebrities at a fried chicken restaurant. Her style of humor is rare on a red carpet interview, and it's refreshing.

"I was gonna invite you to my birthday party," she tells Garfield. "When's your birthday party?" He asks. Then they discuss astrological signs and being a match. "I don't think we should explore this," he said with a laugh. "Okay, well, I'm not even asking to!" Dimoldenberg says. It's real a delight. (For what it's worth, Garfield has been linked to Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor since December.)

She then tries to ask a serious question, it doesn't work out, and it ends with him signing her "Best Friend Certificate." Just watch the interview:
